We are currently seeking an experienced accountant for our firm with a minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience to join our dedicated team. Position Overview: As the accountant at Jenya, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring compliance with Indian accounting regulations and tax laws, and supporting the financial well-being of our organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, costs, and payments on time.
  • Keep correct financial records and ledgers for the company's Indian activities. 
  • Create and go over financial statements on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis. 
  • File TDS and GST.
  • Process for the finalization of accounts. 
  • We need to handle the processes of payroll, PF, and ESIC.
  • To guarantee accuracy and precision, reconcile bank statements and balances.
  • In accordance with Indian laws, manage and submit compliance paperwork and tax returns.
  • Process bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
  • We need to help our operation team make a monthly budget.
  • Remain informed on modifications to Indian tax and accounting regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience with a strong understanding of Indian accounting practices and taxation regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally.
  • Must have the ability to work independently. 
  • Should have proficient knowledge of advanced Excel. 
  • Must have knowledge of the government’s rules for wages.
