Position Overview: As a VOIP Developer at Jenya, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SIP-based communication solutions. You will work closely with our engineering team to create robust and scalable SIP applications that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SIP-based communication applications and services.
  • Implement, configure, and troubleshoot SIP signaling and media protocols.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to SIP call flows and network connectivity.
  • Perform protocol and compatibility testing to ensure interoperability with various SIP-based platforms and devices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in SIP development.
  • Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in SIP development.
  • Strong knowledge of SIP protocols (RFC 3261) and VoIP technologies.
  • Experience with SIP server configurations and management.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with SIP libraries and frameworks (e.g., PJSIP, SIP.js).
  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) and Wireshark analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
